The Mantle is a progressive metal band that was formed in 2007 as Paragon Concept by guitarist/vocalist Jake Miller and drummer Jason Ley, only to change their name in 2008 to The Mantle. They recruited bassist Alex Fidel and guitarist Dylan Winters before the name change occurred. They recorded a 3 song demo in 2008.
