There are at least 4 bands that use the name The Forest: 1)The Forest are a lo-fi band formed as a 3 piece in Manchester 2003. This line-up released the single Living Room in 2005, but then split. A short lived 4 piece line up gigged in 2006, but from 2007 onwards The Forest continued as a 1 piece, recording 3 albums: Hidden Fortress, Lion Out and Alone In Music. They released their Debut S/T EP in mid 2007 on Shape and Size records. They have played a multitude of festivals and gigs around Australia, including popular Christian festival Blackstump.
