The band formed in early 2008 as a two-piece acoustic collaboration between Julian Shank and Curt Miller, which soon blossomed into the three piece band "Kids!Kids!Kids!" incorporating David Morley on the drums. Early songs relied heavily upon the use of acoustic guitar, piano, and Korg Synthesizer. By early 2010, looking to fill out the overall sound, Myki Aslyn joined as the bassist, and the band began work writing and recording for their first EP. Conflicts with the name eventually led to an official change by the end of 2010; "The Echo Room" being derived from a nickname given to the unused main room in their studio house in Bon Air. The band is currently in the process of finishing their first studio album slated for a Summer 2011 release. Their official official website is the most current informational source. Read more on Last.fm.
