Teatro Satanico is an experimental industrial project from Bassano del Grappa, Vicenza, Italy. The only permanent member behind this project is Devis Granziera (aka Devis G. and DeviLs G.). Various others artists appeared on the Teatro Satanico releases, such as Alberto Maria Kundalini, Stefano Biasin, Tairy Ceron (AIT!) and many others.
Teatro Satanico started in 1993, as a sort of electronic synth-punk band. The earlier tracks were just a bunch of synth-noises released on and off intermittently from 1993 to 1995.
From 2000, when the Austrian label The Nekofutschata Musick Cabaret choose to release the first Teatro Satanico vinyl LP album, till 2006, all Teatro Satanico releases have been done using studio materials that had been previously recorded, during the very late '90s.
Only after Teatro Satanico presented his first live-performance, in 2007, Devis G. choose to go on a litle further with the project. So, after some wandering through various electronic experimentations, eventually Teatro Satanico came to play those laptop-punk and post-industrial pop tunes you can hear now.
Today Teatro Satanico live line-up features Devis G. and Kalamun on stage, and Mauro Martinuz at the mixing-desk.
