Stenders is an American progressive rock band formed in Hampton, Virginia by brothers Sten and Anders Hasselquist. Starting initially as a side project, Stenders built up an expansive catalogue through Sten's home recordings, combining primarily classic metal influences with jazz guitar. Their self-titled LP was released independently in October 2011, featuring Sten on vocals and lead guitar, and Anders Hasselquist and Jaron Farassat sharing drum duties.
