Staruha Mha (transliteration of Старуха Мха meaning "the crone of moss") was a Moscow based dark ambient project started by Roman Sidorov, also of Der Golem and Sedativ. Started in 2000, the project mixed harsh guitar drones, ethno (dark) ambient backgrounds, field recordings and elements of industrial noise to create a unique sound.
