The members of Sound Revolution all grew up together in Irvington, NY. During High School, the boys formed a band called "Under the Influence" and performed local gigs for a few years. After graduating High School, everyone went their separate ways and headed off to College. The guys found themselves all in NY again once Kent moved back from Los Angeles in 2006. They decided at that time to get together, and from that time Sound Revolution was born. Sound Revolution released their first LP, the self-titled "Sound Revolution" in November 2008. This album has been praised with combining elements of classic blues based rock with the modern sound and feel of modern rock. Regulars on the NY music scene, Sound Revolution prides themselves on the intensity of their live shows, as well as keeping as live a feel to their studio albums as possible.
