Solfragment was formed in Göteborg, Sweden in 2020. The band was formed around a shared love of classic prog rock, fusion, metal and video game soundtracks - and a goal of creating expansive music, explore different forms of music and have an outlet for crazy ideas. The band’s genre is “Shameless prog” - Odd meters, mixing music styles and having long instrumental sections is nothing to be ashamed of! Mellotron and 7-string guitars mix with metal, fusion and drum’n’bass.
