The Sneak Attack Tigers formed in the late 1990's in their hometown of Greenock on the West coast of Scotland. Always having considered themselves more Sub-Pop than Brit-Pop, and having spent their teens listening to AC/DC, Guns 'N' Roses, Pavement and The Lemonheads, what resulted was a riff-heavy mix of crunching guitars, soaring melodies and razor-sharp pop hooks. Perhaps the bands biggest showcase to date, is their inclusion on the soundtrack to the latest installment of EA Sports best-selling FIFA franchise, FIFA 2005. It includes the "The End of All Good" along with tracks from established acts such as Franz Ferdinand, Morrissey, Air and The Scissor Sisters, amongst others. The band are the only unsigned British act to be included on the soundtrack, and as such, find themselves in a similar position to Franz Ferdinand, who were featured on Madden NFL whilst still unsigned. The Tigers have licensed songs to Nickelodeon, who used "This & nothing Else" on the season premier of "Radio Free Roscoe", with further Sneaks tracks scheduled for use in later shows. The band have recorded sessions for both BBC Radio 1’s "Session in Scotland" and BBC Radio Scotland’s "Air" show, and were short-listed for "Session of the Year" on the "Session in Scotland". They have also had a variety of tracks played on the aforementioned BBC shows, as well as Beat 106, Moray Firth, Sub City Radio and other radio stations throughout the UK. The band performed live on an edition of "Nu Music", a show fronted by Mani (The Stone Roses. Primal Scream), which airs on the satellite channel "Play UK". The Tigers have earned a reputation as an incendiary live act, and have supported Snow Patrol, The Cosmic Rough Riders, King Adora and Eugene Kelly amongst others. Read more on Last.fm.
