Few bands on todays French metal scene can rock you with melodic Hard Rock like in the late 80s in the US. Relying basically on their own musical tastes rather than fashions, our four musicians joined in January 2002 in Paris to form SNAKE EYE. They want to find back the emotion musicality and energy that put bands like Whitesnake, Winger, Dokken or Skid Row in the spotlight, and they rapidly composed the material for a first demo, recorded in April 2002. This self-produced CD won laudatory critics in the biggest music magazines in France (Hard Rock Magazine, Rock Time, Rock Hard with a title on their September 2002 CD sampler), and abroad. Combining bluesy vocals, virtuoso guitars and a kick-ass rhythm section, SNAKE EYE offers in a synthesis of what the US and Europe produced best in terms of high-style metal with catchy refrains. At the beginning of 2005, SNAKE EYE spent 4 weeks in studio in Paris to record and mix the dozen venom samples that make up the new album. This album allowed them to sign with american label Kivel Records, THE melodic hard-rock label in the US led by passionate John Kivel, in Dec 2005.
