Silence Is Deafening is a five piece alternate/screamo band, hailing from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. The five band members, Lloyd Daniels, Trentan Kruger, James Hart, Marcus Grinsted & Nick Hargans all in their teens, have created a potent sonic blend of diverse rock genres that will undoubtedly throw a new deserving aural contender into the ring. Their energetic and powerful live shows have seen them as the band of choice for support acts with international acts False Start(NZ), Guns for Glory(NSW)& Brisbane’s ‘Repeat Offender’. Silence is Deafening have just finished recording their debut ep, THE MIRAGE ESCAPE which will be released over the Australian summer. Produced by Pete Townson & engineer Dave Drummond at Elevenpm Studios, the 5 song ep was mastered by renowned mastering engineer Matthew Gray.
