Shotgun Gambling was formed in 2008 by Mikel Askenzo (Vocals, Lead Guitar), Fiendy McFiend (Drums), and Alan Bloomfield (Vocals) after their bands, The Cids and Steel Toed Aggression (respectively), broke up. Since then, Johnny Nebula was added on bass, and soon after the four-piece's first show, Electro Shields was added on rhythm guitar.
