Sena Şener was born on September 19, 1998, in Gaziantep. She discovered her talent and met music at the age of 9–10. Deeply fond of playing the guitar and singing, she later moved to Istanbul with her family. She wrote her first English song at the age of 11. By the time she was 15, she had begun making amateur voice recordings on the platform SoundCloud. She uploaded her singing and the recordings she made there. Discovered in this way and gaining more followers day by day, the “rock princess” captivated everyone with her voice. One of the people who discovered her was Mahmut Orhan, who reworked Sena Şener’s recording of Self Control.
