Screamheads is a drum'n'bass duo located in Aalborg, Denmark. Screamheads is all about that warm 70’ies soul, funk motown sound and the group consists of Casper LT and Morten Alick. Though they have different musical backgrounds magic was made from day one of their collaboration in 2004.
The first Screamheads tune that was released was their remix of Noir – My MTV which came out digitally on Toolroom Records in early 2007.
Even though Toolroom is known as a big houselabel they wanted to try a different take on the MTV-anthem and therefore Screamheads was asked – the tune got heavy support from the likes of BluMarTen, John B, and others and peaked as number #5 on the beatport dnb chart.
Next up is a tune called “Under the Sun” which features the brazilian beauty Camila Andrade on vocals. The tune will be the debut release on Spin Recordings – which is a brand new label founded by Morten Alick and Casper LT in 2006. The original will be backed with a hot remix from the brazilian superstar Bungle. His remix stays true to the original but gives it that extra edge that will rock any dancefloor! The 12” will be released in the beginning of April – and has got major support from Crissy Criss on 1XTRA. Read more on Last.fm.
