Schnurrbart started out in the city of Sindal, Denmark, in the beginning of August 2009. In the same month the band released the EP "Kokser". Since 2010 the band has been inactive, but on the 11th of July, 2013, the band signed with "Nej Recordings" who announced a digital rerelease of "Kokser" which will be out on the 30th of July, 2013. According to Schnurrbarts facebook page, fans should expect to hear more from them within the next few months.
