I started learning the guitar after a friend inspired me to take some lessons off my Father who had been bugging me for a while, finally I had the desire to do it! To take those few lessons were the best thing I have ever done. The guitar has given me so much joy and inspiration in my life. So have the friends I have met along the way through my journey. The best thing about it is when things get me down I just pick it up and play. Songwriting has been a huge outlet for me when things just aren't going right. I get so much joy out of making up lyrics and putting the words to music.
