SANdBLASTING is from 1997 the solo project of Luca Torasso. At nowdays with this project: have been released 6 offiical album; unreleased tracks on various compilations ( ElektroAnschlag, Schlagstrom, Rustblade's Tribute To Pier Paolo Pasolini, Chew-z, ..... ); remixed artists as No More, Hanin Elias, Manufactura, xotox, cervello elettronico, Acylum, bahntier, detune-x, ... ; played in various festival and clubs ( ElektroAnschlag, Schlagstrom, Slimelight, Jazz Rebel Fest, Street Rave Parade, No Vapour, No Human No Cry, ... ) perfoming live and sharing the stage with international artists as Asche, Synapscape, :Bahntier//, Brighter Death Now, Dive, In Slaughter Natives, Geistfrom, Detune-X, P.A.L., .... The name of the project has not been casually choosed : there is a link between the "sandblasting" mechanical treatment carried out on metal surface covered by rust and the Luca Torasso's project. The SANdBLASTING project is based on the reality that all the human being have a brain for to think and with to act but beacuse of the long time of no use, this vital organ has been covered by a thick of rust that prevent his regular function ( oxydation ). The aim of the SANdBLASTING project is to generate abrasive and violent frequencies that act on the brain of the listener like the quartz powder works on the rusted metal surface. In the 2004 with Riccardo Balli (aka dj Balli, dj, writer, producer and founder of the indipendent Italian label Sonic Belligeranza ) base " +Belligeranza " the first Sonic Belligeranza sublabel and in the same year begins to work with Stefano Rossello ( :Bahntier//, Detune X ) and with the Rustblade label / project.
