Ryu SuJeong (Hangul: 류수정) is a South Korean soloist and the lead vocalist of K-pop girl group Lovelyz under Woolim Entertainment. She made an official debut as a Lovelyz member on November 17, 2014. (Prior to this the group had released a pre-release digital single on November 5, 2014). Su Jeong made her solo debut on May 20, 2020. SOLO PRE-DEBUT As the lead vocalist of Lovelyz, Su Jeong was known for her distinct husky voice. Her group being known for unique lyrical dance songs such as "Hi", "Ah-Choo", and "Destiny". In 2015, she featured in Infinite H's track "Bump" (부딪쳐). The next year, 2016, she collaborated with Brown Eyed Soul's Youngjun in "Start of Summer" (시작의 여름). Within the same year she sung a song with her group mate Baby Soul for the K-drama Second to Last OST. The song was titled "Clean" (오늘도 맑음). In the group she has contributed to writing the song "Hide and Seek" (숨바꼭질) which was released on the group's R U Ready album which was released on May 2, 2017. Later that year, Su Jeong participated in reality show, Idol Drama Operation Team. She was also part of the show's temporary girl group, Girls Next Door which debuted on July 14, 2017 with the song "Deep Blue Eyes". DEBUT: 2020 Su Jeong made her solo debut on May 20, 2020. This would be her third debut after debuting in Lovelyz and Girls Next Door. Her debut album was Tiger Eyes with the title track being "Tiger Eyes". The album also includes a song that she wrote called "Lullaby"(zz (자장가)). Other tracks on the album were "Be Cautious", "Call Back", "Your Name" (너의 이름), "42="(Between) and "Na, Ni" (나, 니).
