While he may have left that ambition far in the distance there is an apparent parallel between that fanciful childhood dream and this exciting new up and coming singer's music. This fresh sounding electro-pop, along with the character he brings to it, certainly has all the colour and action of any fast paced animation. But don't be mistaken, this is no one dimensional character. If you listen closely beneath his captivating and heartfelt vocals you'll discover Ryan Davies is also an artist who really has something to sing about! And as a live performer he has an energy and passion that add a whole other dimension to what he does. Originally from rural Victoria, Ryan moved to the city of Melbourne after finishing school. It was there he studied music, performed in musical theatre and later performed his own original music in a band he'd rallied together. Through these adventures (and occasional mayhem) he not only grew as an artist but found the confidence to ditch other people's opinions and objections and focus on being Ryan Davies. Previously recording with various collaborators, including producers/DJ's Lionel Towers (Gypsy & The Cat) and Gerard Sidhu (Strange Talk), Ryan has more recently written and recorded new music with talented producer and songwriter Sebastian Ivanov (Cassie Davis, Anthony Callea, Seany B). Much like his childhood ambition Ryan's main intent is to write, record and perform music that "inspires people and makes them feel good about themselves." His infectious pop tunes certainly achieve just that.
