Rolling Calf Sinfonette is one of several recording projects of C.P. McDill (the others being Saluki Regicide, Djinnestan, Akashic Crow's Nest, Drone Wallah, Rowboat Magicians and Tree Helicopter). The main output of Rolling Calf Sinfonette was in the years 2002-2003. The project was officially retired in 2004, and no more recordings will be forthcoming under that name. Many elements of the "style" of RCS were taken up by subsequent recording projects, Rowboat Magicians and Tree Helicopter.
