On its 2005 EP So Much Drama, Red Knife Lottery shifts easily among epic rock, hardcore, metal, and countless other moods, crafting a mini soundtrack to teen angst within each song. The Milwaukee group’s soft-loud dynamics are punctuated by singer Ashley Chapman’s ability to go from blasé drawl to ferocious roar.
