Rebirth of Nefast is the black metal project of musician Stephen Lockhart (Haud Mundus, Sinmara, Slidhr). Though it was formed in Ireland in 2006, Lockhart later relocated to Reykjavik, Iceland. The demo Only Death was released in 2006, followed by Ex Nihilio, which was a split with Slidhr.
