Ranka Lee (ランカ・リー), born April 29, 2043, is a short but lively, naïve but cheerful girl. She is the younger sister of S.M.S. ace pilot Ozma Lee.
At Ozma's suggestion, she works part-time at the Nyan-Nyan Chinese restaurant while going to a girls' high school. She is a big fan of Sheryl Nome and had received concert tickets as a huge favor from her brother. She has loved to sing since childhood, and dreams of perhaps becoming a singer. After losing the Miss Macross contest, she was picked to replace the actress for Mao Nome in the "Bird Human" movie and quelled the riots on Gallia 4, earning the nickname, "Super-Dimension Cinderella" (超時空シンデレラ).
