Romanian post-punk/new wave band, formed in 1995, in Timisoara, and disbanded in 2001. Their first band name came in 1997 (Radical in Cal - square root of a horse), then, in 1999, the members decided on Radical Din Val (square root of a wave) as a more suitable name.
In 2005, after listening to unreleased material, band member Dan Mitrofan alongside guest Ciprian Costache did rerecordings and resampling of old songs from the 1996 - 1998 period, and even recorded new ones.
Radical Din Val played at the Underground Timisoara Festival (1998, 1999, 2000), Studentfest, Europe's Day Fest, and other festivals and concerts, and were featured on the Dark Romania compilation with two of their tracks ('Suflet Comun' and 'Extratechristul')
