Pyramyd is a london-based progressive metal band active since september 2014. It was formed when Álvaro Verdejo a.k.a. Mad-Frost (guitars) and Nacho Estévez (drums) splitted ways from their former band Dantrol Voltage, in barcelona. Nacho played drums in Dantrol Voltage and Strings To Raise; disbanded due to the departure of their guitarist. At this point, Nacho offered Frost to play with Jose, who played bass for Strings To Raise, and he agreed. They composed their first song, Petrichor, after a couple of months being together, but it was not the sound they were really looking forward. And then they came up with their second song: Pyramyd.
