The band was founded by Ergin Karahan(guitar,vocal,melodica) and Volkan Yavas(bass) in 2006. After a short while, the band came across Murat Yakupoglu(drums and percussions) and recorded its first demo (uzunpsychedelichava)( uzun...hava is a genre in Turkish Folk music). Trying to record songs with guest musicians,Pulera first appeared on the stage in the 12.Tuborg Roxy Music Days. Then Erdinç Koca(violin, mandolin) and Onurcan Cagatay(trumpet) became the new members of the band. Getting ready for the stage, Pulera keeps on making music in Eskisehir in a bar called "Carpe Diem". Psychedelic, folk, jazz, experimental and ethnic music with Turkish music compose the general sound of the band.
