After establishing the gothic rock band Darc Entries in 1992, founding members Matthias Günzler und Schips began experimenting in 1995 with an electro project in Reutlingen Germany, eventually calling it Plastikstrom. After one tour in 2001, Darc Entries dissolved und Plastikstrom became their focus. After a longer hiatus during which members Wimp and Stahl left the band, Plastikstrom began releasing several contributions to music samplers and gave a few rare concerts. In 2018 they began releasing more songs and performances. Their latest release "Beton gegen Angst" (June 2019) is available from Young & Cold Records, and they'll be performing at various festivals in 2020. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Plastikstrom">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
