Introducing western Sydney's latest pop rock act, Paper city thief. Fronted by singer/guitarist Daniel Bartulovich (A Broken Silence), Paper City Thief are set to deliver their debut album featuring 11 highly energetic and melodic tracks. Recorded at electric sun studios under the guidance of (insert producer/engineer and recording credits) Paper City Thief get set to make some serious waves in 2013. Formed in late 2012 paper city thief is the brain child of Daniel b (broken silence) and Nathan Tuffin (broken silence/self is a seed). The pair had previously collaborated with artists such as Ozi Battla (the Herd) Draft and Tim Freedman (The Whitlam’s). During their time with A broken silence, “The Road is Lost” single featuring Tim Freedman was released on the Whitlam’s greatest hits album. The band signed to RB records (Japan), Obese records (AUS) and WIDEawake entertainment in the US and sold over 5000 hard copies. Bassist Andrew Haszard(self is a seed) joins the paper city thief rhythm section laying down some thumping pop grooves and smooth vocal harmonies. Nathan Tuffin and Andrew Haszard have toured extensively with Sydney hard rock act Self is a seed, supporting industry heavyweights such as dead letter circus, karnivool, MM9 and Helmet(US). In early 2012 Nathan Tuffin was invited to record drums on Reece Mastin’s singles “Shut up and kiss me” and ”Outta my face”. In early 2013 Nathan was also invited to lend his ears and expertise to Tonight alive latest record set for release late this year, Further tightening his grip around pop rock rhythms. Lead guitarist Paul Petrone hails from the Sydney punk band 'the initiation' supporting headline acts such as Ivoryline, Ben Jorgensen, Skyway and Trail Kenned.
