One Meter Stance was a skate punk band from Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Quebec that formed in the year 1996. It consisted of 3 members. In the spring time of 1997, they intended on recording an album. However, this album was never released for unknown reasons. By the winter of 1998, they recorded the demo ¿ Unlucky ? and released it in 1998. The song Young Boy from the demo appeared on a various artist compilation entitled Are You Punk Enough?! Vol. 2. Other songs of theirs have appeared on other various artist compilations. They played live shows with local bands such as Son Of A Beat, Brain Püker and From Grass To Cheese. In the summer of 1999, they began to write more songs for an upcoming album. They couldn't find a drummer to record anything for their intended upcoming album.
