MY HOT PONY is a belgian powerpop rock 'n roll band from antwerp, the city of rock 'n roll, formed by Nikolaas De Belie (bass), Maarten Van Doorslaer (drums), and the twins of evil Gerrit and Bert Van Dyck, both the group's lead vocalists and guitarists, completing the band's succesfull lineup in 2006. Critics laud MY HOT PONY's style as a remarquable combination of melodic rock, blues, country, psychedelica, funk, heavy metal and indie. In 2008 this 4- membered eclectic band recorded their first ep: creeping post-grunge noise with a Greg Dulli voice-over interlaced with melodious Kings of Leon riffs and propelling drums. MY HOT PONY has been carving their own forceful route showcasing an ever-evolving style and a growing reputation for electrifying live shows.
