My Hostage (formerly As Fire To Flame) was a straight forward Rock'n'Roll band with influences spanning from Jawbreaker and Mineral to The Cure and Smashing Pumpkins. Based out of Jacksonville, Florida and adorning former members of hardcore darlings Evergreen Terrace -- My Hostage formed in early 2003. Shortly after signing with New School Records in January of 2005, these hardworking musicians diligently finished writing for an up-coming debut full length album titled "Calling Vacation Home", which came out November 1st, 2005. My Hostage has shared the stage with such acts as: Thursday, Evergreen Terrace, Hawthorne Heights, Every Time I Die, Roses Are Red, Casey Jones, Calico System, My Hotel Year, Zolof The Rock'n'roll Destroyer, From First To Last, Saosin, Glasseater, Unsung Zeros, The AKA's, 7/10 Split, The Program, Arms Bend Back, and many more!
