There are two bands who are currently named My Aim is True. Both bands have borrowed the monicker from Elvis Costello’s 1977 album of the same name.
My Aim Is True (NJ) - Formed in Sussex, NJ in 2007, they released an 8 song EP in 2008 titled “You’re Just Catching Up”. The band set out on an east coast American tour in the Winter of ‘07/’08 in support of the album. Their new EP (set for 2010 release) is a maturation from the band’s previous pop-punk sound, with more emphasis on technical yet accessible post punk, emotional rock.
