Biography
Morcheeba are an English electronic band formed in the mid-1990s by brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey, who later recruited vocalist Skye Edwards. Their music incorporates elements of trip hop, rock, folk rock, and downtempo. Since 1995, they have released ten regular studio albums, two of which reached the UK top ten. The band recruits additional members for live performances and has toured internationally. Paul Godfrey stepped away from the group in 2014. Edwards and Ross Godfrey later formed Skye & Ross and released the self-titled album "Skye & Ross" in 2016. Their latest studio album as Morcheeba without Paul Godfrey, "Escape the Chaos," was released in 2025.
