Their first musical steps were made at local venues and nearest illegal festivals. Their political/social lyrics and uncompromising music found resonance in Russian undeground scene. After releasing debut album “Confrontation” in 2017 the band started to spread their sound among the European metalpunk community. During the 2018-2019 Moratory changed lineup, released one single “The More I See” and a split with German band SpeedKobra, after which they went on Russian and European tours. In the early 2020 lineup was changed again and the band played a huge gig with Axegrinder & Anti-System. In the spring of 2021, Moratory released their 2nd album “The Old Tower Burns”, leaning more into metal music complexity, while keeping their punk attitude.
