Performing alongside other local acts such as Psyko Dalek, they have not played live since July 2023 and the band's current status is unknown. (2) Monkey Puzzle is a four piece punk band from Kapiti Coast, New Zealand. Monkey Puzzle formed in 1995 and later gained popularity by offering many of their songs for free online. Monkey Puzzle gets its name from a type of tree. The band renamed itself "Faster She Said" for the Battle of the Bands in 2007, which they subsequently won.
