THE MOLICE is a Japanese indie rock band formed in Tokyo in January 2007. They are currently based in Buffalo, New York. They formed from the dissolution of two other bands, The Radicales and China Chop. The current lineup consists of vocalist/rhythm guitarist Rinko, lead guitarist Yuzuru Takeda (武田ユズル), and drummer Hirofumi Katsumoto (カツモトヒロフミ, aka Paro). Ikuhiro (イクヒロ) and Takashi Koyama (コヤマタカ志) were their original bassist and drummer until leaving in 2011 and 2015, respectively. They've released five full-length albums and two EPs through Velour Voice in Japan and Good Charamel Records in the US. Their latest album is GATE, released October 12, 2018.
