To the many creations of rock and roll, there will always be a unique binding in a certain band. Marvelous Things is an American rock band formed in 2008 in Montebello, California originally named No Love Lost. Like so many new bands, there’s always that one spark that makes certain individuals want to start playing and form a band. Thanks to rock and roll and its fast paced form punk, No Love Lost was formed. Its original line up consisted of Willie on guitar/ vocals, Sonny on bass, and Jesse on drums. Even though, the punk sound was evident, with growth and experience their musical style evolved. Their new and current line-up consist of Willie on guitar/ vocals, Frank on bass, and David on drums/back-up vocals. As far as their musical style goes, it is often misleading to label a band “indie”, however they are truly an independent band. Their sound can be best described as having melodic leads, catchy riffs, rhythmic bass lines and drum beats inspired by the post-punk movement. So far they have recorded an EP entitled It’s Not Too Late and hope to record very soon.
