Maroufleur has been making electronic music since 2001. Originally the line up was James Gilbert and Ben Power (ex Spy Versus Spy). Maroufleur created what was essentially melodic electronica and did some low key concerts around the UK and Norway (sometimes under the name Ice at cape canaveral. Ben left in 2003. James carried on and has since redefined Maroufleur's sound incorporating vocals and creating a more 'accesible' indietronica sound.
