Better known as Julian M (his 4/4 dj name), Markus Aeon is a drum'n'bass dj from Romania. Discovering the UK DnB scene around '97-'98, represented by Adam F, LTJ Buckem & MC Conrad, Big Bud, Roni Size, Photek. a.s.o., Markus promoted them, as well as different other electronic music genres through his local pirate radio, Future Fm, and afterwards through parties, being the second drum'n'bass dj in Constanta after Mello-D, who was a great influence for him. Soon, he started the first rave parties in Constanta along with his friends - Alectronic, Sonicvibe, e-mantra & Dome, mixing mostly Uk early Jungle and some Neurofunk, going then more into techstep. Markus himself was afterwards an influence for Yuffa, whom he met around 2002, bringing him to the Octopus Connection parties, and soon Yuffa proved himself to be a very talented drum&bass dj, who, along with his brother, Hardcore, created their own typical sound that became famous around Romania. And altough Markus went on several musical directions with his projects - Julian M as a dj (deep-house,tech-house,progressive), Julian Morris as a producer (trip-hop), Noverbia as a band (trip-hop,alternative,post-rock), he never forgot drum'n'bass, so now, being delighted with the nu-skool wave, that is being more melodic and energic than the minimal Metalheads type Dnb, he reinvented himself as Markus Aeon, bringing 11 years of mixing experience and a lot of soul into his mix sessions. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Markus+Aeon">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
