Multi-instrumentalist Mariah Ver Hoef [Vur-Hoof] is a #1 artist on Jango Internet radio and has three full length albums at age 16. She self-recorded and produced her first album of all original music at age 14. A year later she produced her second, and at 16 has released her third solo album. Ver Hoef lives in Fairbanks Alaska and draws inspiration from the rich life around her. The latest album, “Space Between Two Worlds” is pop with folk-rock influences, and has been compared to Colbie Caillat, Alanis Morissette, and Michelle Branch. The music of this young, up-and-coming singer songwriter has strong melodies, vivid imagery and she writes about the trials and excitement of coming of age. The latest album includes Ver Hoef performing on electric guitar and keyboards as well as acoustic guitar and vocal layers. She was featured guest artist on KUAC's "Alaska LIVE" live interview and performance radio program (11/03/10 - podcast).
