Maria Gentile (Soprano) (Catania 1902 – Catania 1993) probably made her debut in 1923. In 1925 she appeared at the Teatro Verdi in Pisa as Gilda in ‘’Rigoletto’’. In 1929 she sang at the same opera house in ‘’Rigoletto’’, ‘’Lucia di Lammermoor’’ and ‘’Barbiere di Siviglia’’. In 1925 she performed at the Italian Opera in Holland and afterwards in the big Italian provincial stages.
