Lyburnum was a band that existed from Summer 1993 - Winter 1995, and released a nicely-recorded cassette, a song for Ebullition Record's "Amnesia" compilation, and a song for the Wooden Blue Records compilation (featuring a slew of local Arizona bands). Lyburnum opened for hardcore and emo bands of the time including Groundwork, Antioch Arrow, Angel Hair, Evergreen, Julia, Unwound, Portraits of Past, Clikitat Ikatowi, Still Life, Policy of 3, Floodgate, Current, etc. A good time had by all. Members went on to join or form the following Arizona bands: Dovecote, Unruh, Structure of Lies, Coronach, Wellington, the browns, North Side Kings, the motorcycles, Uruk-Hai, Mercitron, Hotfoughtcold, Bindlestiffs, Landmine Marathon, AP Calculus, BOSSK, and more to come.
