Who? Good question, sit back and get comfortable. Picture the scene... three guys with nothing to do, a long mini bus ride in very hot weather, plans for a website showcasing their "legendary" whit and visions of rock n roll grandeur - all factors in the creation of LosChimpos. Sadly for the rest of the populace they actually went ahead and tried to create something. In 2000 a plan for a joke christmas present started to form, an album showcasing the finest examples of drum and bass badness. Either that or an album of random guff. The album went down better than expected, friends and family who heard the CD seemed to like it - well they would say that wouldn't they. A second album was in the works, although this turned out to be more EP than full album. Attempts were made to have the word 'chimp' in every song title though, so it's not all bad. Apart from the actual tracks themselves that is. It has been twelve years since that fateful first album, what is next for the intrepid trio? Nothing I'm afraid, they've all gone their separate ways after artistic differences caused a split. Two members wanting the band to go Dub Step... *shudder* It was a fun ride, good night.
