Liquido da Bass or simply Liquid is the sound of Jacob Bogh. Born in Peru and growing up internationaly, Liquid gathered inspiration in various places before his Parents settled in Denmark when he was 11. By then he could already play piano and guitar. His teenage years saw him develop his eclectic taste in music and playing in bands. The main focus was ska, punk and reggae, although hip hop, dancehall and jungle were also influeces. At 20 Liquid started to discover the different styles of electronic music. He moved to London to rave to house, techno, garage and drum'n'bass, and came back with a couple of 1210s and a small record collection. Throughout the next seven years, Liquid made a name for him self as a DJ and event promoter all around Denmark - mainly the capital Copenhagen and second city Århus. In 2007 his crew OPP were nominated for a Danish DJ Award as Event of the Year. Since 2009, Liquid's main focus has been music production. His style is as eclectic as his musical taste, ranging from house and techno to ambient, back to dubstep, to electronica and other strange experiments with a Danish poet.
