Lambrini Girls formed during a period of lockdown in the COVID-19 pandemic. The group headlined a show for the first time in October 2020. In 2024, the group made the decision to withdraw from their slot at The Great Escape Festival as the festival's sponsor Barclays was on the BDS list.
