Kleveland is the independent music project of Portland, Oregon singer, song-writer and guitarist Stephanie Smith. Her current band includes Morgan Grace on lead guitar, Allen Hunter on bass, and Danny Carbo on drums. Kleveland has released two CDs, Everybody Wants To (2003) and Kleveland (2006). Kleveland's musical style is a primarily a blend of punk and rock with plenty of other influences. The band plays original material primarily written by Ms. Smith. The performance material is reminiscent of Joan Jett and Stephanie's vocal stylings at times have hints of Patti Smith. Kleveland performs frequently in the Portland, Oregon area.
