No longer are the days of when folks mention Columbia, SC the only topics of conversation to spill out are Young Jeezy and Rob Thomas! For the record, lets give some props to Sam Beam (Iron & Wine), Washed Out, Toro Y Moi, and who we’ll be hitting on tonight, Kid Trails…better give Rob Thomas some props too, we def all know the words to Matchbox 20’s Yourself or Someone Like You. In better news than Rob Thomas collaborating with River Cuomo (i’m stopping now), Kid Trails have a cassette dropping in October via Mirror Universe Tapes who are releasing a lot of great folks like Weed Diamond and the homie Easyboy. Taking a few steps to the side from their ol’ PBR-fueled folk stories for some tape hiss and a lovely idea of intimacy, KT have an eclectic arsenal of tunes ready to bump from them to you.
