There are at least 3 bands by this name: (1) A mid-90s Boston space rock trio. Includes guitarists Marc Orleans (Sunburned Hand of the Man) and Christian Hedlund and drummer John Widger. (2) A dark and heavy charged instrumental Post-Metal band, weaving raw emotion with cinematic soundscapes, hailing from Heist Op Den Berg (Belgium). Formed by Antoon Verbeeck, Kevin Cravillon (both guitars) and Soren R. Van Bauwel (drums), the trio crafts music that balances intimacy with vastness. With their 2025 album 'Scraps of the Final Lights' they venture deeper into darker, heavier, and more expansive territory than their 2021 debut 'CLOAK'. Every song captures a fragment of memory, a shard of emotion, or a piece of something that once felt whole, forming a journey that is at once vulnerable and intense, melodic and atmospheric. They step further into a world where fragile melodies collide with towering walls of sound. (3) Juneau is a Rock band hailing from Houston, Texas. Their sophomore release Safe and Sound is a 11 track masterpiece full of catchy choruses and guitar hooks. "Safe and Sound is how an Album should be" says Justin Schultze, singer and guitarist for the band. "its not just 11 songs thrown on a cd, each song tells a story and they all correlate and by the end of the album you get the whole picture, its a message that takes 11 songs to figure out". the band recently had a stint on the 2007 Vans Warped Tour.
