Julia Doszna (Bielanka near Beskid Niski, Poland) is a Lemko singer dedicated to traditional Russyn music in the Lemko dialect. She started singing with the folk group Lemkovyna, and pursued a solo career later. At present she performs a cappella with classical guitarist Krzysztof Pietruch, as well as with a choir under direction of Jaroslaw Mazur. Her releases include an audio cassette 'Christmas Carols in the Carpathians' and CDs 'There in Lemkovyna', 'Why Are You Crying?' and 'Immigrant'. Julia participated in numerous local festivals, and recorded with some known Polish bands (Dudaryk, Lemkowyna, Roma, Orkiestra sw. Mikolaja, Kwartet Jorgi, Muzykance, Czeremszyna, Teatr Wegajty, and Teatr Gardzienice). She is a co-founder and present director of "Wereteno" children choir.
