“Journeybox follow Radiohead's OK Computer-style of writing, starting off with folk melodies and Tinkerbell vocals; lyrics that plead or sound sad before later in the song they rip up the wetness with some roasting riffs” (Rick Fulton, Daily Record) The band, who formed in 2007, are Pete Morrison on vocals and guitar, Kari Morrison on vocals and keys, and Roy Collings recently on bass for live gigs. The band played the first London Gathering Festival (headlined by Eddie Reader), a celebration of the arts in Scotland, and a recent major art awards ceremony at the National Museum in Edinburgh. Their first album, ‘story’ recorded in a home studio and their Glasgow flat, has just been released. Journeybox will be playing in King Tuts on 26th September supporting Neil Halstead. ‘story’ is available in Glasgow stores HMV, Fopp and Borders, and download sites such as iTunes. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Journeybox">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
